Completed Pool in Mosman

We recently shared the early stages of this pool project in a residential home in Mosman, NSW. LATICRETE Technical Sales Rep, Craig Hunter, was back on the job site with the team from Sydney Pool Renovations and they had just completed laying the Ezarri mosaic tiles and grouting. Soon the pool will be ready to be filled with water. What a great end result! 

Products used:

• 3701 Fortified Mortar Bed is a polymer fortified blend of carefully selected polymers, Portland cement and graded aggregates. 3701 Fortified Mortar Bed does not require the use of latex admix, you only need to add water to produce thick bed mortar with exceptional strength.

• 335 Premium Flexible Adhesive is a high performance thin-bed adhesive for installation a wide range of tile and stone for exterior and underwater applications. 

• LATAPOXY® Moisture Shield is a 2 component, roller applied epoxy coating specifically designed to reduce moisture vapour emissions in concrete and other substrates.

• HYDRO BAN® is a thin, load bearing waterproofing/crack isolation membrane that DOES NOT require the use of fabric in the field, coves or corners. HYDRO BAN is a single component, self curing liquid rubber polymer that forms a flexible, seamless waterproofing membrane. HYDRO BAN bonds directly to a wide variety of substrates.

• HYDRO BAN®  Fillet & Sealant is a one component, fast curing, hybrid elastomeric adhesive and sealant. Particularly for use under HYDRO BAN Waterproof Membrane as a transition fillet and crack filler.

Training at Amber Tiles Eastwood

Completed Bathroom Project!

Completed bathroom project by Luke Clarke from Top Notch Wall and Floor Tiling in Mid North Coast, NSW, who has used Ultra X8 Polymer Fortified Flexible Adhesive for the installation. 

Ultra X8 Polymer Fortified Flexible Adhesive is a creamy and smooth to trowel thin-set adhesive for installing all types of tile and stone over a wide range of surfaces. It is suitable for use on cement sheet, suitable waterproof membranes, renders, screeds and masonry surfaces, both internally and externally. Also suitable for plasterboard in internal areas. Ultra X8 Polymer Fortified Flexible Adhesive can be fortified with LATICRETE Latex Additives for a wide range of installations. Exceeds the requirements of AS ISO13007.1&2 as a C1TES1 classification.

Paving Project Made Easy!

Contractor Glenn from Super Gardens recently finished this 50m2 granite paving project over a concrete water tank lid for the Officer City Council in VIC. A range of LATICRETE materials was used throughout this project and supplied by Reece Irrigation & Pools in Clayton.

• 4237 Latex Additive a specially designed latex additive for use with 211 Crete Filler Powder to make a high strength latex thin and medium bed adhesive up to 15 mm, for installing all types of tile, stone and agglomerates.
• 315 Super Floor & Wall Adhesive is a high performance thin-set adhesive to install tile and stone using the thin-bed method of installation. Mix with water or fortify with LATICRETE latex admixture.

Talk about commitment - the teams from Icon Tiling Group  and  Ryan Pools stayed back at one of their private work yards on a late Friday arvo after a hectic week, for hands-on LATICRETE product training with Joe Tabone and Craig Hunter, LATICRETE NSW Technical Sales Reps.

Streetscape Still Looks Amazing!

NSW LATICRETE Technical Sales Rep, Craig Hunter, recently re-visited the Gundagai Streetscape project in NSW, which was completed more than a year ago, and it still looks fantastic! 

The project on Sheridan Street consisted of 3500m2 paved with granite which was installed with 211 Crete Filler Powder and 4237 Latex Additive. The paving was grouted with 3701 Fortified Mortar Bed. The team from ArcScape Landscape Services worked in conjunction with Gundagai Council for the installation, and CE Industries supplied materials. 

4237 Latex Additive - a specially designed latex additive for use with 211 Crete Filler to make a high strength latex thin and medium bed adhesive up to 15 mm, for installing all types of tile, stone and agglomerates.
