Brick Facade at La Mama Theatre

 

LATICRETE Technical Sales Rep, Chris Stenhouse, was on-site with the team from A & R Durran Bricklaying at La Mama Theatre in Carlton, VIC. The project features a PGH brick facade built by Chroma Group and designed by Cottee Parker Architects. A range of LATICRETE materials has been used throughout this installation.

• LATAPOXY® Moisture Shield is a 2 component, roller applied epoxy coating specifically designed to reduce moisture vapour emissions in the concrete and other substrates. 

• HYDRO BAN® is a thin, load bearing waterproofing/crack isolation membrane that DOES NOT require the use of fabric in the field, coves or corners. Recently LATICRETE attended a trade night at Amber Tiles in Chatswood, NSW. It was a great event and almost 30 tradies came through. Residential Feature Wall Completed

We are happy to share the completed project photo of this residential feature wall in Newcastle, NSW. Tiler, Dave Millington has done a great job installing Veneer Stone using MVIS™ Veneer Mortar and PERMACOLOR® Select Color Kit, in Midnight Black to provide a coloured adhesive system to avoid shadow lines in an installation without grout. Well done!

Residential Feature Wall in Progress

 

LATICRETE Technical Sales Rep, Craig Hunter, caught up with tiler Dave Millington on a residential property in Newcastle, NSW. The project features Veneer Stone installed using MVIS™ Veneer Mortar and PERMACOLOR® Select Color Kit, in Midnight Black to provide a coloured adhesive system to avoid shadow lines in an installation without grout.

Outdoor Training at Yallah TAFE

Glenn Mannix, LATICRETE NSW Technical Sales Rep, recently spent the day with 3rd year Landscaping and Construction students at Yallah TAFE, NSW. The focus of the training was on cladding systems and cement-based membranes, including the use of HYDRO BAN® SLURRY and MVIS Veneer Mortar. Well done!

External Wall Cladding

We recently shared a project in Martha Cove, VIC, from  PB Tiling which consisted of internal stone wall cladding. Chris Stenhouse, LATICRETE VIC Technical Sales Rep was once again on-site,  the team have been preparing the external walls for cladding using HYDRO BAN® waterproofing.
