LATICRETE Australia Appoints New Technical Sales Representative
LATICRETE
Australia is excited to announce Daniel Minos has taken up the position as
Technical Sales Representative in Victoria, alongside Chris Stenhouse.
From an
early age Daniel enjoyed the concept of building things and sharing knowledge.
Starting in sales in retail, Daniel then went on to study and was awarded the 2010 Apprentice
of the year in Floor and Wall Tiling. Once qualified, Daniel was self-employed
as a tiler and took on the challenge of teaching at TAFE as he enjoys teaching
a skill or sharing knowledge. Most recently Daniel worked in Japan at an IB
School, and had the opportunity to teach building and construction
skills.
In Daniels
spare time he enjoys music as can be reflected in his record collection, he
enjoys bushcrafts, learning and practicing some of the “lost arts” trades
such as woodcarving, leatherworking, blacksmithing and using/repair vintage
tools to build things by hand.
“I am
extremely fortunate to have had these experiences in life that has given me a
global perspective, trade skills, knowledge and teaching that I look forward to
bringing with me in my work at LATICRETE. It’s a nice feeling to be able to
support the company that supported me in my early years as a tiler. (2010
Apprentice of The Year… I still have the trailer thank you guys!!). It’s a
small world after all.”
