LATICRETE Australia Appoints New Technical Sales Representative

LATICRETE Australia is excited to announce Daniel Minos has taken up the position as Technical Sales Representative in Victoria, alongside Chris Stenhouse.

From an early age Daniel enjoyed the concept of building things and sharing knowledge. Starting in sales in retail, Daniel then went on to study and was awarded the 2010 Apprentice of the year in Floor and Wall Tiling. Once qualified, Daniel was self-employed as a tiler and took on the challenge of teaching at TAFE as he enjoys teaching a skill or sharing knowledge. Most recently Daniel worked in Japan at an IB School,  and had the opportunity to teach building and construction skills.

In Daniels spare time he enjoys music as can be reflected in his record collection, he enjoys bushcrafts, learning and practicing some of the “lost arts” trades such as woodcarving, leatherworking, blacksmithing and using/repair vintage tools to build things by hand.

“I am extremely fortunate to have had these experiences in life that has given me a global perspective, trade skills, knowledge and teaching that I look forward to bringing with me in my work at LATICRETE. It’s a nice feeling to be able to support the company that supported me in my early years as a tiler. (2010 Apprentice of The Year… I still have the trailer thank you guys!!). It’s a small world after all.”

Welcome to Corey Downes

Ross McNeil, LATICRETE Australia National Sales Manager, has announced the appointment of Corey Downes to the position, Technical Sales Representative for LATICRETE Australia, managing the Victorian and Tasmanian markets.

Corey comes to us from Victoria with a Bachelor of Business in Accounting and is also a qualified Tiler and Waterproofer. Corey excelled while completing his tiling and waterproofing qualifications and was awarded “3rd Year Floor and Wall Tile Apprentice of the Year” by Master Builders Association of Australia. 

Corey’s career in the construction market started with working for the family tiling business before working in commercial tile sales, and progressing to operating his own tiling business. Corey has an in-depth of knowledge of the tiling industry which makes him a great fit for LATICRETE Australia. 

A lifelong supporter of the Melbourne Demons, Corey is an avid fan of the AFL. He enjoys golf, cricket, spending time with his family & friends, and travelling.

Corey joins the LATICRETE Australia Technical Sales Team reporting to Ross McNeil, LATICRETE Australia National Sales Manager.

Welcome to George Andriotis!

LATICRETE Australia Appoints Technical Sales Rep

We are excited to announce the appointment of George Andriotis as LATICRETE Australia Technical Sales Representative. George will be responsible for all LATICRETE Product Sales and Support in the Victorian and Tasmanian markets. 

George joins us after a number of years in the retail side of the tiling industry, working with AVJ Ceramics and Tile in Stile in the Dandenong region of Melbourne, Victoria. George is a qualified tradesman and worked as a professional tiler for many years, working on, and managing, commercial tiling projects all over Victoria, before getting out of the industry all together to work in hospitality. George brings with him a wealth of knowledge, experience and contacts and we are very much looking forward to him joining the team and expanding our reach in the southern markets. 

George will be reporting directly to Ross McNeil, LATICRETE Australia, National Sales Manager.

George lives in the Frankston area of Melbourne, he is a passionate Carlton Football Club supporter and family man, who loves jumping onto a trowel on the weekends to help out friends with their tiling projects

LATICRETE Australian Team Continues to Grow

Press Release: February 1st, 2016 LATICRETE®, a global manufacturer and leader of premium installation and finishing systems for the building industry, announced Erin Fraser had been appointed to the position of Technical Sales Representative of LATICRETE Australia.

Erin Fraser will be reporting directly to Neil Warden, LATICRETE Australia, National Sales Manager. 

“Erin comes to us with a strong background in the tile and stone industry, having managed tile shops for a number of years and more recently as a Sales Representative in Victoria.  Erin will work closely with the LATICRETE team to develop and grow our business in Victoria     This makes Erin a perfect fit for the LATICRETE Victoria team,” said Neil Warden.

Erin was born in New Zealand and moved to Australia in 1989. She has 3 daughters and 2 grandchildren, both boys. Erin enjoys fishing, boating and scuba diving. Erin studied as an Interior designer but shortly found her interests were more in the tile industry and has been in the tile industry for the last 15 years. Erin enjoys dealing with the trade, problemsolving and comes with technical sales experience.

We seek additional experienced people to fill the role of Technical Sales Representative in QLD and VIC, to promote our comprehensive system approach and product range to Architects, Engineers, General Contractors, Consultants, Associations and Organisations.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:-

• Strong results in Specification Sales
• An understanding of Construction Materials and Methods
• Strong presentation skills
• Experience in the Construction Industry
• Develop, Plan, Co-ordinate and Execute major Architectural, Engineering and Contractor presentations.
• Intrastate and International Travel involved
• We are looking for someone with at least 5 years sales experience in a similar role within the Construction Industry.
