Rooftop Balconies Underway

 

It was not only Corey Downes, LATICRETE Technical Sales Rep, who enjoyed this spectacular view. The team from Skorpil Tiling got to enjoy it as well while working on their project on Sunshine Beach, QLD. The team are renovating residential rooftop balconies and using a range of LATICRETE materials, just in time for spring! 

Products being used:

• 3701 Mortar Admix - used in place of water, 3701 Mortar Admix improves the working and physical properties of any cement mix and provides an economical and easy way to make permanent, trouble-free installations of ceramic tile, brick, and natural stone.
• LATAPOXY® Moisture Shield - a 2 component, roller applied epoxy coating specifically designed to reduce moisture vapour emissions in concrete and other substrates.
• HYDRO BAN® - a thin, load-bearing waterproofing/crack isolation membrane that DOES NOT require the use of fabric in the field, coves or corners. HYDRO BAN is a single component, self-curing liquid rubber polymer that forms a flexible, seamless waterproofing membrane. 
• 335 is a premium, flexible, high-performance thin-bed adhesive for installing a wide range of tiles and stone including low absorption ceramic tile, porcelain tile, natural and manufactured stone using thin-set method of installation.

Ross McNeil, LATICRETE Australia National Sales Manager has announced the appointment of Rowan Payne to the position of Business Development Representative for LATICRETE Australia. 

Rowan has an extensive background in sales in the construction industry and will be focused on developing new business relationships for LATICRETE in Queensland working with Architects and Engineers, major constructors, and the traditional re-seller network. Rowan has a well-developed understanding of the construction industry and has what it takes to be successful in it. Rowan comes with a wealth of knowledge and is enthusiastic about the industry.

Technical Sales Representative

We seek additional experienced people to fill the role of Technical Sales Representative in QLD and VIC, to promote our comprehensive system approach and product range to Architects, Engineers, General Contractors, Consultants, Associations and Organisations.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:-

• Strong results in Specification Sales
• An understanding of Construction Materials and Methods
• Strong presentation skills
• Experience in the Construction Industry
• Develop, Plan, Co-ordinate and Execute major Architectural, Engineering and Contractor presentations.
• Intrastate and International Travel involved
• We are looking for someone with at least 5 years sales experience in a similar role within the Construction Industry.

We offer a salary package commensurate with experience, including excellent base salary + commission + vehicle.
