Loftus Lane Revisit

 

It's always a treat to revisit a job site after a while! LATICRETE NSW Technical Sales Rep Joe Tabone was in the heart of Sydney to check out Loftus Lane, almost one year since the team from Sam the Paving Man finished installing new paving on this urban streetscape for Sydney City Council using LATICRETE installation materials from the "Extra Heavy Duty" Streetscape installation system.

The team from Sam the Paving Man finished the project with a coat of STONETECH® Sealer for maximum protection while retaining the natural look of the stone.

Completed Streetscape at Loftus Lane

At the end of last year we shared the beginning of this streetscape project at Loftus Lane in Sydney. Involved in this 800m2 streetscape project for the Sydney City Council are:

Designer: Aspect Studios

Builder: Richard Crookes Construction

Installer: Sam The Paving Man

Materials from the LATICRETE "Extra Heavy Duty" Streetscape Installation Systems Brochure have been used throughout this project. 

LATICRETE products in the "Extra Heavy Duty" Streetscape Installations brochure are recommended for the installation of ceramic tile, concrete paver and natural stone where an “Extra Heavy Duty” installation that is required normally associated with transit ways, roads, footpaths, and streetscapes.

These systems are particularly suited to roads and areas required to handle heavy vehicular traffic. Provided that tile or stone are installed in accordance with applicable industry standards and written LATICRETE installation instructions, projects utilising LATICRETE products can qualify for a comprehensive LATICRETE System Warranty.

Loftus Lane CBD Streetscape

Joe Tabone, LATICRETE NSW Technical Sales Rep, was on this 800m2 jobsite in Loftus Lane, CBD Sydney, NSW. Involved in this streetscape project for Sydney City Council are the designers from Aspect Studios, the builders from Richard Crookes Construction, and the installers from Sam The Paving Man. The project features 100x100x50mm pavers installed using a range of LATICRETE materials.
