Cobblestone Driveway Upgrade

Chris Stenhouse, LATICRETE Technical Sales Rep, was recently on-site with Anthony and the team from Foliage Landscaping at a residential property in Melbourne, VIC. The team is upgrading this driveway featuring cobblestones, installed using LATICRETE 315 Super Floor & Wall Adhesive and 3701 Mortar Admix. LATICRETE installation materials have been supplied by Stone and Tile Centre. 

• 315 Super Floor & Wall Adhesive is a high performance thin-set adhesive to install tile and stone using the thin-bed method of installation. Mix with water or fortify with LATICRETE latex admixture. 
• 3701 Mortar Admix is a specially designed latex admixture for use with thin-set adhesives, cement grouts, cement mortar beds and other cement mixes. Used in place of water, 3701 Mortar Admix improves the working and physical properties of any cement mix and provides economical and easy way to make permanent, trouble-free installations of ceramic tile, brick and natural.

Streetscape Still Looks Amazing!

NSW LATICRETE Technical Sales Rep, Craig Hunter, recently re-visited the Gundagai Streetscape project in NSW, which was completed more than a year ago, and it still looks fantastic! 

The project on Sheridan Street consisted of 3500m2 paved with granite which was installed with 211 Crete Filler Powder and 4237 Latex Additive. The paving was grouted with 3701 Fortified Mortar Bed. The team from ArcScape Landscape Services worked in conjunction with Gundagai Council for the installation, and CE Industries supplied materials. 

4237 Latex Additive - a specially designed latex additive for use with 211 Crete Filler to make a high strength latex thin and medium bed adhesive up to 15 mm, for installing all types of tile, stone and agglomerates.

3701 Fortified Mortar Bed is a polymer fortified blend of carefully selected polymers, Portland cement and graded aggregates. 3701 Fortified Mortar Bed does not require the use of latex admix, you only need to add water to produce thick bed mortar with exceptional strength.

Gundagai Streetscape Upgrade

Sheridan Street in Gundagai, NSW, is currently undergoing an upgrade of 3500m2 to the streetscape. Exfoliated granite paving and stone cladding, supplied by CE Industries, is being installed using a range of LATICRETE products including:

211 Crete Filler Powder - A factory prepared blend of carefully selected raw materials, Portland cement and graded aggregates. Designed for use with 4237 Latex Additive to produce a high strength adhesive for ceramic tile and stone that meets and exceeds the requirements of national and international standards. For the installation of ceramic tile and stone over cement and masonry type surfaces.

4237 Latex Additive - A specially designed latex additive for use with 211 Crete Filler Powder to make a high strength latex thin bed and medium bed adhesive up to 15 mm. For installing all types of tile, stone and agglomerates.  Also for use with Portland cement to make slurry bond coats for mortar beds and with thin set adhesives to give improved performance and longer open time.
