Completed Pool in Mosman

We recently shared the early stages of this pool project in a residential home in Mosman, NSW. LATICRETE Technical Sales Rep, Craig Hunter, was back on the job site with the team from Sydney Pool Renovations and they had just completed laying the Ezarri mosaic tiles and grouting. Soon the pool will be ready to be filled with water. What a great end result! 

Products used:

• 3701 Fortified Mortar Bed is a polymer fortified blend of carefully selected polymers, Portland cement and graded aggregates. 3701 Fortified Mortar Bed does not require the use of latex admix, you only need to add water to produce thick bed mortar with exceptional strength.

• 335 Premium Flexible Adhesive is a high performance thin-bed adhesive for installation a wide range of tile and stone for exterior and underwater applications. 

• LATAPOXY® Moisture Shield is a 2 component, roller applied epoxy coating specifically designed to reduce moisture vapour emissions in concrete and other substrates.

• HYDRO BAN® is a thin, load bearing waterproofing/crack isolation membrane that DOES NOT require the use of fabric in the field, coves or corners. HYDRO BAN is a single component, self curing liquid rubber polymer that forms a flexible, seamless waterproofing membrane. HYDRO BAN bonds directly to a wide variety of substrates.

• HYDRO BAN®  Fillet & Sealant is a one component, fast curing, hybrid elastomeric adhesive and sealant. Particularly for use under HYDRO BAN Waterproof Membrane as a transition fillet and crack filler. 

• PERMACOLOR® Grout - offers the maximum performance available in a cement based grout, providing consistent colour and antimicrobial protection to resist stain-causing mould and mildew. PERMACOLOR Grout is easy to install - just mix with water.

Residential Pool in Mosman

This private pool in Mosman, NSW, is being renovated by Sydney Pool Renovations. Craig Hunter, LATICRETE Technical Sales Rep, submitted these photos of the project currently in progress. Sydney Pool Renovators are using the below LATICRETE products on this 100m2 pool project.

Residential Mosman Pool

This beautiful private residence pool in Mosman, NSW, was recently installed by Wright Pools. The pool over looks the Sydney Harbour and features Ezarri glass mosaic tiles installed with a wide range of LATICRETE materials.

• PERMACOLOR® Grout - offers the maximum performance available in a cement-based grout, providing consistent colour and antimicrobial protection to resist stain-causing mould and mildew. PERMACOLOR Grout is easy to install – just mix with water.
• LATASIL™ sealant is a high performance, one component, neutral cure, 100% silicone sealant designed for ceramic tile & stone applications.

Bridgepoint Shopping Centre Project

This exterior tiling project at Bridgepoint Shopping Centre in Mosman, NSW, has just been completed for CD Construction Group, featuring 90m2 of 220x75mm terracotta tiles. Tilers, Knewbee Tiling Group, and grouting team, TM Building & Construction, used a range of LATICRETE materials for installation including

• 335 Premium Flexible Adhesive is a high performance thin-bed adhesive for installing a wide range of tiles and stone including low absorption ceramic tile, porcelain tile, natural and manufactured stone using thin-set method of installation. 
• SPECTRALOCK® PRO Premium Grout* is designed for use on tile, glass tile and stone applications, both residential and commercial. It can be used both interior and exterior on floors and walls. Ideal for re-grouting applications. SPECTRALOCK PRO Premium Grout is perfect for swimming pools, fountains and other wet area applications.
