Update: Oatlands Private Residence

 

Project Update: Oatlands Private Residence

In May this year we shared the beginning of this project, "Oatlands Private Residence" and it has come a long way. 

Craig Hunter, LATICRETE NSW Technical Sales Rep submitted the above progress project photos of a 600m2 cladding project, where 600mmx400mm Sandstone façade wraps around the entire exterior of the house, using a full LATICRETE installation system. It looks amazing. Marble Plus supplied the stone and CT Tiling is doing the installation.

• 254 adhesive is the ultimate one-step, polymer fortified, thin-set mortar for interior and exterior installation of ceramic tile, stone, quarry tile, pavers, and brick.

Welcome to Mali Residence, luxurious apartments on the Gold Coast, QLD. Top Floor Tiling shared the details of this exquisite major project that they completed for Hutchison Builders, with us.

The exquisite façade, approximately 400m2 has 600mm x 400mm unfilled travertine stone, was laid 1/4 staggered pattern. The stone was supplied by 3 Balls Red on the Gold Coast.  A full LATICRETE installation system, from waterproofing to adhesives was the preferred choice.

Residential Project in Brighton

 

Chris Stenhouse, LATICRETE Technical Sales Rep, was on-site with MV Tiling at this residential property in Brighton, VIC. The team has installed porcelain panels to the facade using LATICRETE installation materials. Beautiful work!

Framed and Sheeted Facade in Hopetoun Toorak

 

We are excited to share these photos of a completed shared by Chris Stenhouse, LATICRETE Technical Sales Rep of a framed and sheeted facade project in Hopetoun Toorak, VIC. The 150m2 project features Artedomus large format porcelain tiles and Inax subways, installed by the team from Skill Tiling using a range of LATICRETE materials.

Multiplex Facade Project

 

LATICRETE Technical Sales Rep, Chris Stenhouse, was on-site with Roger and the team from Stanmor at this multiplex project at 308 Exhibition Street in Melbourne. The project features 2500m2 of bluestone panels installed using LATAPOXY® 310 Stone Adhesive and LATAPOXY® 310 RAPID Stone Adhesive in conjunction with Stone Clip fixings on the facade. 

LATAPOXY® 310 Stone Adhesive is a two-component, high strength epoxy adhesive. Engineered, formulated, and optimised for the spot bonding fixing method of installing tile and stone on vertical surfaces. LATAPOXY 310 Stone Adhesive maintains its non-sag consistency at high working temperatures up to 35°C. Interior, exterior, wet areas, walls, ceilings, and soffits.

LATAPOXY 310 RAPID Stone Adhesive is a two-component, high strength epoxy adhesive. Engineered, formulated, and optimised for the spot bonding fixing method of installing tile and stone on vertical surfaces.

Melbourne Apartment Project

Clancy Constructions were recently working on this south Melbourne apartment project, alongside tiler, Alisdair Wheeler. The project consists of marble installed throughout the project, using LATAPOXY® 310 Stone Adhesive for the facade and 335 for the installation of the pools and bathrooms. Products supplied by Tilers Trade Outlet in Port Melbourne.

• LATAPOXY 310 Stone Adhesive is a two-component, high strength epoxy adhesive, which is formulated for spot bonding fixing method of tile and stone installations on vertical surfaces. LATAPOXY 310 Stone Adhesive maintains its non-sag consistency at high working temperatures up to 35°C.
• 335 adhesive is a premium, flexible, high-performance thin-bed adhesive for installing a wide range of tiles and stone including low absorption ceramic tile, porcelain tile, natural and manufactured stone using thin-set method of installation. Exceeds the requirements of AS ISO13007.1&2 classification C2TES1. Excellent for exterior and underwater applications, superior bond to masonry.

Facade Project in Mornington

Corey Downes, LATICRETE VIC Technical Sales Rep was on site with the team from STileS . The team  have been working on this project in Mornington, VIC which consists of facade over 8 metres high with 450x900mm porcelain tiles installed using LATICRETE materials.

Curved Cladding Project in Mosman

"Wauw, check out this huge residential project!" LATICRETE Technical Sales Rep, Craig Hunter, was on the job site in Mosman, NSW, with the team from Decore Tiling. 

This exciting project consists of 400m2 external curved limestone cladding along with 650m2 internal flooring tiled in limestone, including the bathrooms using a range of LATICRETE materials!

335 Premium Flexible Adhesive is a high performance thin-bed adhesive for installation a wide range of tile and stone for exterior and underwater applications. 335 Premium Flexible Adhesive exceeds the requirements of AS ISO13007.1&2 classification C2TES1.

STONETECH® Enhancer Pro™ Sealer is a heavy duty sealer that seals and enhances the surface to a deep rich colour.

The Crossroads Business Park

The Crossroads Business Park is a modern, 139,352 m2 office and retail space in Southern California. It features a host of modern amenities and a progressive design that includes large format travertine natural stone tile on the facade of the building. The developers were committed to a sustainable building process and employed a number of innovative approaches in the construction that posed several challenges. The building is four stories tall and was built using concrete, tilt-up walls, meaning that the walls were poured horizontally and then hoisted into place and tied together. LATICRETE was brought in early in the process to identify the best materials and implementation to achieve the desired results for the exterior tiling.

“The stone tile is the highlight of the building as visitor’s approach, so we needed the best possible installation that will hold up over time. LATICRETE products give us the performance we need and give the project’s owners peace of mind”, said Architect John R. Burroughs, LEED AP Commerce Construction Co., L.P.

The installation took a little more than three months to complete and utilised a range of LATICRETE materials including HYDRO BAN®, PERMACOLOR® Grout, LATASIL™ and 254 Platinum Adhesive. With the right products, Commerce Construction was able to achieve the elegant look the client wanted while achieving an installation that will hold up well to the constant heat and occasional rain of the area. The building is a success and is a centerpiece of the business park, helping to draw a variety of tenants who appreciate the outstanding construction quality.

LATICRETE NSW Technical Sales Rep, Joe Tabone, recently visited this new residential building in Lansvale. The 55m2 blade wall facade was completed using the MVIS™ System for natural stone and was installed by the team from Ceramic Tile Wizards. LATICRETE materials used throughout this project:

This exterior tiling project at Bridgepoint Shopping Centre in Mosman, NSW, has just been completed for CD Construction Group, featuring 90m2 of 220x75mm terracotta tiles. Tilers, Knewbee Tiling Group, and grouting team, TM Building & Construction, used a range of LATICRETE materials for installation including

Trencadis Mosaic Tile Facade

This Trencadís mosaic tile facade was installed directly to the concrete building envelope with the LATICRETE System of high performance materials. This system consisting of a LATICRETE fortified render, shockproof adhesive and high performance grout. This is a life of structure installation technology. Project is in Sydney, Australia.
