Russell Lea Project Finalised

 

Check out this stunner of a pool! MJK Tiling and BTC Tiling have recently teamed up to complete this Russell Lea Project for The Pool Co. The project features 50m2 of impressive White Russian mosaics from Europe Imports in the pool and 30m2 Olive Limestone for the feature wall from Artisan Stone, installed using LATICRETE materials!

• HYDRO BAN® - a thin, load-bearing waterproofing/crack isolation membrane that DOES NOT require the use of fabric in the field, coves or corners. HYDRO BAN is a single component, self-curing liquid rubber polymer that forms a flexible, seamless waterproofing membrane. 

• 335 - a premium, flexible, high-performance thin-bed adhesive for installing a wide range of tiles and stone including low absorption ceramic tile, porcelain tile, natural and manufactured stone using thin-set method of installation.

Beautiful Cladded Home

What a beautiful facade! The team from Common Works have been busy installing South Australian Limestone for this residential facade in Picton, NSW. The project consists of 600m2 of stone supplied by Bunzl, installed with a wide range of LATICRETE materials including: 

• LATAPOXY® Moisture Shield is a 2 component, roller applied epoxy coating specifically designed to reduce moisture vapour emissions in concrete and other substrates
• HYDRO BAN® is a thin, load-bearing waterproofing/crack isolation membrane that DOES NOT require the use of fabric in the field, coves or corners.
• 254 adhesive is the ultimate one-step, polymer fortified, thin-set mortar for interior and exterior installation of ceramic tile, stone, quarry tile, pavers, and brick.
• LATASIL™ is a high performance, one component, neutral cure, 100% silicone sealant designed for ceramic tile and stone applications.

Limestone Pool Surrounds

The team from Utopia Landscaping & Pools recently completed this amazing pool surrounds at a private residence in NSW. The 76m2 project features 600x400x30mm Pavian limestone with rendered edges and is now ready for use when the warmer weather arrives. 

LATICRETE products used:

Pinbarren Pool Complete

Recently we shared in a pool project underway in Pinbarren, QLD, by Don Macdonald and his team from The Orchid Group, and we are excited to share finished photos of the pool. The team have also been busy with internal work on the project, where marble tiles have been installed.  A range of LATICRETE products have been used for the installation including:

• 3701 Fortified Mortar Bed - a polymer fortified blend of carefully selected polymers, Portland cement and graded aggregates. 3701 Fortified Mortar Bed does not require the use of latex admix, you only need to add water to produce thick bed mortar with exceptional strength. 
• HYDRO BAN® - a thin, load bearing waterproofing/crack isolation membrane that DOES NOT require the use of fabric in the field, coves or corners.
• 254 Platinum - the ultimate one-step, polymer fortified, thin-set adhesive. For interior and exterior installation of ceramic and stone tile, reduced thickness porcelain, quarry tile, pavers and thin brick.
• LATAPOXY® SP-100 -  a stainless, pigment free, colourfast epoxy grout for grouting floor installations of ceramic tile, brick, and stone. Cleans with water while fresh. Can be used for interior and exterior applications.
• SPECTRALOCK® Grout - a patented, high performance epoxy grout that offers colour uniformity, durability and stain resistance with extraordinary ease of use. Designed for use on ceramic tile, glass tile and stone applications, both residential and commercial.

The team have used a range of LATICRETE products for the installation including:
