New Pool in Mollymook Underway

 

Check out this project! The team from Southern Pools & Spas is building this upcoming block construction pool in Mollymook, NSW. The blocks are supplied by Baines Masonry while a range of LATICRETE materials is to be used throughout this project.

Hamilton Private Residence

Shane Anderson, LATICRETE QLD Technical Sales Rep shared these photos of a project which Murray Heazlewood and this team from SEQ Tiling and Cladding have been working on in Clayfield, QLD.

The floor features tessellated tiles and the walls feature 75x150mm ceramic tiles installed using the below LATICRETE installation materials:

3701 Fortified Mortar Bed is a polymer fortified blend of carefully selected polymers, portland cement, and graded aggregates.

Braidwood Pool - Covered & Protected

From a concrete shell to this - you may recall we shared the Braidwood Pool back in May. We are excited to share an update on this project.

The team at Endevour Pools show how they have completely covered this public pool in Braidwood protecting their work against the elements, while a full LATICRETE pool tiling installation system is being used for the 400m2 pool.

Conventional Portland cement tile setting beds, thin-set adhesive mortars, groups, and cement plasters are often permanently damaged when subject to below-freezing temperatures immediately after installation. The water content of a mortar turning into ice often results in Portland cement gel structure rupturing with a significant loss in strength, flexibility, and durability. Subsequent repairs to the damaged work and resulting site delays are extremely costly.  

There is a simple rule to follow when the temperature is low during installation: The 10ºC Rule – for every 10ºC below 21ºC, Portland cement, and epoxy-based materials take twice as long to cure. Click here to continue reading our helpful hints for Cold weather tiling & grouting.

Pool Project Moving Forward

We are excited to share the progress of this fully tiled pool in Bulimba, QLD, by Cascade Pools and Sam Gardener Tiling. The project is moving forward, it's now time for grouting! Sans Souci Pool Completed!

Recently we shared a pool project in Sans Souci, NSW, by the team from Knewbee Tiling. The project included a 50m pool and toddler pool which featured 1400m2 of porcelain Serapool tiles, supplied by The Pool Tile Company, and installed with a range of LATICRETE materials. 

The project is now completed and filled with water, ready for use, and the results are  absolutely amazing!
