Joe Tabone, LATICRETE Technical Sales Rep, met with the builders from Focus Pools who have done an amazing job applying HYDRO BAN® SLURRY on this residential pool in the Northern Beaches, NSW. Beadcrete to be installed as the interior finish for this one!

HYDRO BAN® SLURRY is a cement-based one component, polymer fortified, waterproofing material that mixes with water and easily apples with brush, roller, or trowel. This product can be used on retaining walls, water features, slabs on the ground, and immersed installations. HYDRO BAN SLURRY is suitable for areas requiring negative hydrostatic pressure resistance up to 2.5 BARS and positive hydrostatic pressure up to 5 BARS.

Hamilton Private Residence

WOW - What a project

Shane Anderson, LATICRETE QLD Technical Sales Rep shared the details on this large format thin porcelain panel project, which has been installed to the facade and onto the front door of a private residence in Hamilton, QLD by Murray Heazlewood and his team from SEQ Tiling and Cladding. It looks absolutely amazing!

LATICRETE installation materials used were:

HYDRO BAN® is a thin, load bearing waterproofing/crack isolation membrane that DOES NOT require the use of fabric in the field, coves or corners. HYDRO BAN is a single component self curing liquid rubber polymer that forms a flexible, seamless waterproofing membrane that bonds directly to a wide variety of substrates. HYDRO BAN is a low VOC emitting product that has been GREENGUARD certified. 254 is the ultimate one-step, polymer fortified, thin-set adhesive for interior and exterior installation of ceramic tile, reduced thickness porcelain, stone, quarry tile, pavers and brick. 254 adhesive, designed to just mix with water, has a long open time with unsurpassed adhesion and workability.
