Chris Stenhouse, LATICRETE Technical Sales Rep, was onsite with tiler Stefano Marando at this residential property in Melbourne, VIC. Chris gave Stefano a demonstration on using HYDRO BAN® and 335 adhesive on this bathroom renovation.

LATICRETE materials used:

• HYDRO BAN® is a thin, load bearing waterproofing/crack isolation membrane that DOES NOT require the use of fabric in the field, coves or corners. HYDRO BAN is a single component, self curing liquid rubber polymer that forms a flexible, seamless waterproofing membrane. HYDRO BAN bonds directly to a wide variety of substrates.
• 335 is a premium, flexible, high-performance thin-bed adhesive for installing a wide range of tiles and stone including low absorption ceramic tile, porcelain tile, natural and manufactured stone using thin-set method of installation.

HYDRO BAN® SLURRY Demo with Rockedge

Before Christmas, our LATICRETE Technical Sales Reps, Chris Stenhouse and Corey Downes, was on-site with Rockedge Paving and Stone Work to give a demo on our newly launched product, HYDRO BAN® SLURRY. The demo took place in Melbourne, VIC, on a small block wall that will later be receiving stonework to the face. 

HYDRO BAN® SLURRY is a cement-based one component, polymer fortified, waterproofing material that mixes with water and easily applies with brush, roller, or trowel. This product can be used on retaining walls, water features, slabs on ground, and immersed installations. HYDRO BAN® SLURRY is suitable for areas requiring negative hydrostatic pressure resistance up to 2.5 BARS and positive hydrostatic pressure up to 5 BARS.

Recently LATICRETE Technical Sales Reps, Corey Downes and Joe Tabone, caught up on-site with Patrick and his team from Conquest who are busy on their latest project in Burwood, NSW. The project will feature a rooftop pool tiled with glass mosaics installed using a range of LATICRETE products.
