Crown Pools and Spas, a pool builder in Kippa Ring choose LATICRETE® 4237-211 grey as the adhesive and PERMACOLOR® as the grout. LATICRETE products that were used in this project, were bought from The Pool Tile Company in Newstead, QLD.

LATICRETE 4237 Latex Additive is a specially designed latex additive for use with 211 Crete Filler Powder to make a high strength latex thin bed and medium bed adhesive up to 15 mm. For installing all types of tile, stone and agglomerates. Also for use with Portland cement to make slurry bond coats for mortar beds and with thin set adhesives to give improved performance and longer open time. Nick Collett, QLD LATICRETE Technical Sales Rep was contacted by Maria Barry, a former student of Sandy Robertson from OzMosaic. As it turns out, Maria is the Arts teacher at St. Bernards Primary, the school where Nick's children go. 

Maria was enquiring about LATICRETE products for a mosaic piece the kids were working on. Nick provided all the tenchnical assistance required for the artwork.

LATICRETE gladly donated the adhesive and grout to help support the school. Various children handmade the tiles and painted original designs to this lovely piece of artwork.

"Tile Corp are using the LATAPOXY® 310 Cordless Mixer on this site. Even I was truly amazed at the productivity in just a few hours! 

I was onsite at 7.30am this morning to meet the contractors and show them how to use their LATAPOXY 310 Cordless Mixer and there was only a small test panel previously laid (first image).

The remainder of the stone was done by only 2 installers who were first time LATAPOXY Cordless Mixer users in a matter of 4.5 hours and that includes a lunch break!!"
