In keeping with the global design of LATICRETE, we are changing the name of 345 Platinum to 254 Platinum. The same product will continue to be manufactured in Australia - just a different bag and name. 

254 Platinum is a globally proven adhesive, used in a wide range of globally proven projects, some of which are: 1 World Trade Centre; Al Hamra Tower, Kuwait City and Atlantis, The Palm, just to name a few.

254 Platinum is the ultimate one-step, polymer fortified, thin-set adhesive. For interior and exterior installation of ceramic and stone tile, reduced thickness porcelain, quarry tile, pavers and thin brick. 254 Platinum provides long open time with unsurpassed adhesion and workability. North Coogee Pool Complete

We have been following and blogging on the progress on the North Coogee pool project and we are excited to confirm it is now complete. 

Liam from Perfect Joint Tiling in WA wrapped up this project. Glass mosaics were used for the tiling and limestone was used for the pool coping. We think it looks wonderful. 

Liam used the below LATICRETE installation materials, which were purchased from Tilers Express WA:

• 3701 Fortified Mortar Bed - A polymer fortified blend of carefully selected polymers, Portland cement and graded aggregates.
• 4237 Latex Additive - A specially designed latex additive for installing all types of tile, stone and agglomerates. Also for use with Portland cement to make slurry bond coats for mortar beds and with thin set adhesives to give improved performance and longer open time.
• HYDRO BAN® -  A single component, self curing liquid rubber polymer that forms a flexible, seamless waterproofing membrane.
• 345 Platinum - The ultimate one-step, polymer fortified, thin-set adhesive. For interior and exterior installation of ceramic and stone tile, reduced thickness porcelain, quarry tile, pavers and thin brick.
• LATAPOXY® 310 Stone Adhesive - A two component, high strength epoxy adhesive. Engineered, formulated and optimised for the spot bonding fixing method of installing tile and stone on vertical surfaces.

North Coogee Pool Nearing Completion

In December 2016 we blogged on this residential pool project in North Coogee by Liam Patterson from Perfect Joint Tiling in Western Australia. The pool is almost wrapped up and we think it looks incredible! The project includes a water feature and consists of glass mosaics for the tiling and limestone for the pool coping.

Spring Hill Plunge Pool Progress

This great looking plunge pool in Spring Hill, QLD, has been progressing nicely since we first shared this project on our blog on 8th December. Sam Gardener Tiling is using, 25x25mm Ela glass mosaic tiles and 1050x460x30mm marble for the bench seat and coping. 

Sam has chosen a range of LATICRETE installation material for this pool project including:
