Serenity Pools Sukabumi Project

Prep work is underway on this circular pool project on the Sunshine Coast, QLD. LATICRETE QLD Technical Sales Rep Corey Downes was on-site with Sam and the team at Serenity Pools, who are using a LATICRETE 25 year Sukabumi Pool & spa system. 

First up, the Serenity Pools team is applying 226 Thick Bed Mortar mixed with 3701 Mortar Admix. After this, the team will install Sukabumi stone tiles using LATAPOXY® 300.

• LATAPOXY® 300 Adhesive is a chemical resistant, epoxy adhesive that will bond to most sound, clean surfaces. The adhesive spreads easily and cleans with water while fresh.

Pool Project Progresses

 

Glenn Mannix, LATICRETE Technical Sales Rep, was on-site with the team from Zen Building and Pools Landscapes in NSW as they began work on a new pool project.

CJM Rendering completed the rendering work, and now Zen Building and Pools Landscapes and Tiled Art Tiling are moving forward on the project, installing 100x100mm Sukabumi tiles to the 120m2 pool.

Builder, Vitale Developments, is using a full LATICRETE pool tiling installation system, which qualifies for a 25 Year Swimming Pool System Warranty. Keep your eyes peeled for more updates!

Stunning Pool Project Completed

 

A quality residential pool project completed just in time for Spring! Corey Downes, LATICRETE Technical Sales Rep, was recently on the Sunshine Coast, QLD, with the team from Ambrose Building as they completed this beautiful green Bali stone pool. The project included 225m2 of Sukabumi stone installed using a range of LATICRETE installation materials which qualifies for a LATICRETE 15 Year Swimming Pool System Warranty.

Products used:

• LATAPOXY® SP-100 is a stainless, pigment free, colourfast epoxy grout for grouting floor installations of ceramic tile, brick, and stone.

Rose Bay Pool Completed

Earlier this year, we shared the beginning of this pool project by Pete and the team from Ellis Construction. Glenn Mannix, LATICRETE Technical Sales Rep, recently shared the above photo of the team's completed project and it looks beautiful! 

Pete and the team from Ellis Construction worked with Western Suburbs Tiles installing the 200m2 of Sukabumi tiles at this Rose Bay residence in NSW.

Comerong Island Pool Complete

In November last year we shared this pool project in Comerong Island, NSW. The team from Amazing Pools have been working hard to get this pool done, and we can truly say it has been worth all the efforts. Well done! The pool features 400x400mm of Limestone tiles, installed using a range of LATICRETE materials:

• LATAPOXY® Moisture Shield is a 2 component, roller applied epoxy coating specifically designed to reduce moisture vapour emissions in concrete and other substrates.
• HYDRO BAN® is a thin, load bearing waterproofing/crack isolation membrane that DOES NOT require the use of fabric in the field, coves or corners. HYDRO BAN is a single component, self-curing liquid rubber polymer that forms a flexible, seamless waterproofing membrane. HYDRO BAN bonds directly to a wide variety of substrates.
• 335 Premium Flexible Adhesive is a high performance thin-bed adhesive for installation a wide range of tile and stone for exterior and underwater applications. 335 Premium Flexible Adhesive exceeds the requirements of AS ISO13007.1&2 classification C2TES1.
• PERMACOLOR® Grout offers the maximum performance available in a cement-based grout, providing consistent colour and antimicrobial protection to resist stain-causing mould and mildew. PERMACOLOR Grout is easy to install – just mix with water.

Comerong Island Pool
