Residential Pool in Mosman Completed!

Craig Hunter, LATICRETE Technical Sales Rep, was recently at this 80m2 residential pool in Mosman, NSW, which completed late last year by Wright Pools and installed using a range of LATICRETE materials:

• 3701 Fortified Mortar Bed is a polymer fortified blend of carefully selected polymers, Portland cement and graded aggregates. 3701 Fortified Mortar Bed does not require the use of latex admix, you only need to add water to produce thick bed mortar with exceptional strength. 
• HYDRO BAN® is a thin, load bearing waterproofing/crack isolation membrane that DOES NOT require the use of fabric in the field, coves or corners. HYDRO BAN is a single component, self-curing liquid rubber polymer that forms a flexible, seamless waterproofing membrane. HYDRO BAN bonds directly to a wide variety of substrates.

Sam Gardener Tiling has done it again! But, this time Sam has footage on the below project installation, in a time lapse video which captures his fine work! 

Picture this - a 45m2 plunge pool, on the second level, above the garage, situated in the front of the house, with city views of New Farm, QLD. The pool features Vixel N11 30x30mm and 600x600 20mm Blue Granite tiles from Artedomus. Mary Durack Interior Design selected the tiles and the grout colour used. LATICRETE materials which qualify for a 15 Year Swimming Pool System Warranty, were purchased from Glues 'n Tools. 

Products used:

Volunteer Work in Townsville

LATICRETE Technical Sales Rep, Mitchell Haw, was recently on the ground in Townsville, QLD, after the devastating flooding in February. Mitchell was at Team Rubicon Australia's assistance for an entire week helping the recovery with debris removal and mucking out.

Avalon Pool Progress

We recently shared this residential pool project in Avalon, NSW by Windrim Building Contractors. The project is progressing well. 

In the above pics, LATAPOXY® Moisture Shield was being applied and the pool is now ready for HYDRO BAN®. The team are using a range of LATICRETE installation materials that were purchased from Amber Tiles Mona Vale and the pool qualifies for a LATICRETE 15 Year Swimming Pool System Warranty:

• 4237 Latex Additive is a specially designed latex additive for use with 211 Crete Filler Powder to make a high strength latex thin bed and medium bed adhesive up to 15 mm. For installing all types of tile, stone and agglomerates.
• 3701 Mortar Admix is a specially designed latex admixture for use with thin-set adhesives, cement grouts, cement mortar beds and other cement mixes.
