HYDRO BAN® SLURRY Gets the Thumbs Up

Over the last few months, the crew from Lone Pine Landscapes were keen to participate in some field trials with our newly released product HYDRO BAN® SLURRY. The project had some negative water pressure but HYDRO BAN SLURRY stood the test and was very successful. The finish was then rendered and ready for stone cladding. Thanks to the team for participating in this trial! 

HYDRO BAN SLURRY is a cement-based one component, polymer fortified, waterproofing material that mixes with water and easily apples with brush, roller, or trowel. This product can be used on retaining walls, water features, slabs on ground, and immersed installations. HYDRO BAN SLURRY is suitable for areas requiring negative hydrostatic pressure resistance up to 2.5 BARS and positive hydrostatic pressure up to 5 BARS.

Commercial Project in Manly

The teams from Style and Tile Co. and Barefoot Living recently undertook a commercial kitchen renovation in Manly, NSW. Our new product PRIME-N-BOND™ was trialed over existing substrates that were cleaned with STONETECH® KlenzAll™ Cleaner.  

Additional LATICRETE Installation materials used on the project were:

• PRIME-N-BOND™ is a versatile, ready-to-use, single coat, low VOC primer designed to enhance the adhesion of adhesives to many smooth and non-absorptive substrates that can be difficult to bond to.
• 335 - a premium, flexible, high-performance thin-bed adhesive for installing a wide range of tiles and stone including low absorption ceramic tile, porcelain tile, natural and manufactured stone using thin-set method of installation.
• SPECTRALOCK® PRO Premium Grout* - High-performance epoxy grout that offers colour uniformity, durability, and stain resistance with extraordinary ease of use.
