Baldwin Aquatic Pool Rennovation

The team at Baldwin Aquatic have done a wonderful job renovating this Scarborough residential pool - just in time to beat the heat on those warm spring days! 

Shane Anderson LATICRETE QLD Technical Sales Rep was on site at this massive 240m² pool. The pool was refitted with Serapool 245mmx120mm porcelain tiles, supplied by our friends at the Pool Tile Company. The installation was completed using a range of LATICRETE products.

Products used: 

• HYDRO BAN® is a thin, load-bearing waterproofing/crack isolation membrane that DOES NOT require the use of fabric in the field, coves or corners. HYDRO BAN is a single component, self-curing liquid rubber polymer that forms a flexible, seamless waterproofing membrane. 
• 3701 Fortified Mortar Bed is a polymer fortified blend of carefully selected polymers, portland cement, and graded aggregates.
• LATAPOXY® Moisture Shield is a 2 component, roller applied epoxy coating specifically designed to reduce moisture vapour emissions in concrete and other substrates.
• 254 is the ultimate one-step, polymer fortified, thin-set adhesive. For interior and exterior installation of ceramic and stone tile, reduced thickness porcelain, quarry tile, pavers, and thin brick. 254 provides long open time with unsurpassed adhesion and workability. 
• PERMACOLOR® Grout is a high-performance grout that provides a grout joint that is dense, hard, and will resist cracking.

Muswellbrook Commercial Pool Project!

We are excited to finally share this Olympic size swimming pool project by Dalski Construction with you! 

Craig Hunter, LATICRETE Technical Sales Rep has been working with the team from Dalski Constructions on this 1100m2 commercial pool located in Muswellbrook, NSW. The pool features Serapool tiles from The Pool Tile Company, installed using a range of LATICRETE materials which qualifies for a LATICRETE 15 Year Swimming Pool System Warranty.

Products used:

• 226 Thick Bed Mortar is a factory prepared blend of carefully selected raw materials, Portland cement and graded aggregates. 226 Thick Bed Mortar was designed for use with 3701 Mortar Admix to produce a latex Portland cement mortar that has exceptional strength. 
• 3701 Mortar Admix is used in place of water, 3701 Mortar Admix improves the working and physical properties of any cement mix and provides an economical and easy way to make permanent, trouble-free installations of ceramic tile, brick, and natural stone.
• LATAPOXY® Moisture Shield is a 2 component, roller applied epoxy coating specifically designed to reduce moisture vapour emissions in concrete and other substrates.

LATICRETE NSW Technical Sales Rep, Craig Hunter, was recently on-site with the team from Dalski, as they are doing remedial work and rendering on the 1100m2 pool in Muswellbrook, NSW.
