LATICRETE Strong Enough to Hold Tanks

 

An oldie but a goodie! The Blacktown RSL World War One Memorial in NSW is still standing strong, even when you have a battle tank parked on tiles - thanks to LATICRETE installation materials. The project features approximately 200m2 of 600x600mm porcelain tiles.

LATICRETE installation materials used on this project: 

• 335 is a high performance thin-bed adhesive for installing a wide range of tiles and stone including low absorption ceramic tile, porcelain tile, natural and manufactured stone using thin-set method of installation. Exceeds the requirements of AS ISO13007.1&2 classification C2TES1. 
• PERMACOLOR® Grout is a high performance grout that provides a grout joint that is dense, hard and will resist cracking.

Blacktown RSL Project

The team at Capo Tiling have been work on this installation at the Blacktown RSL in NSW. The project consists of 180m2 of timber look porcelain tile being installed using 335 Premium Flexible Adhesive. 

335 Premium Flexible Adhesive is a high performance thin-bed adhesive for installing a wide range of tiles and stone including low absorption ceramic tile, porcelain tile, natural and manufactured stone using thin-set method of installation. Exceeds the requirements of AS ISO13007.1&2 classification C2TES1. Excellent for exterior and underwater applications, superior bond to masonry.

Blacktown RSL War Memorial

Blacktown RSL in NSW recently received this ANZAC war memorial, installed by Marcello Capocchiano and Alex Brzezina. Approximately 100m2 of porcelain tile was installed using a range of LATICRETE materials including:

• HYDRO BAN® - a thin, load bearing waterproofing/crack isolation membrane that DOES NOT require the use of fabric in the field, coves or corners. HYDRO BAN is a single component, self curing liquid rubber polymer that forms a flexible, seamless waterproofing membrane. HYDRO BAN bonds directly to a wide variety of substrates.  
• 335 Premium Flexible Adhesive - a high performance thin-bed adhesive for installing a wide range of tiles and stone including low absorption ceramic tile, porcelain tile, natural and manufactured stone using thin-set method of installation. Exceeds the requirements of AS ISO13007.1&2 classification C2TES1. 
• PERMACOLOR® Grout - offers the maximum performance available in a cement-based grout, providing consistent colour and antimicrobial protection to resist stain-causing mould and mildew. PERMACOLOR Grout is easy to install – just mix with water.
