Tomerong Residential Pool

 

This residential pool is a special one for Al and Clive from Al Wilson Waterproofing as it's their first time using HYDRO BAN® SLURRY! Gelnn Mannix, LATICRETE NSW Technical Services Representative was on-site with Al Wilson Waterproofing, and confirmed that Al and Clive were impressed with the ease of application of HYDRO BAN SLURRY, and were able to get their waterproofing work done in rapid time.

The pool is approximately 130m² and built by Zen Building & Pools. Al and Clive have waterproofed the pool using HYDRO BAN and HYDRO BAN SLURRY, and will be installed using an installation of Bisazza tiles using 254 Adhesive and SPECTRALOCK® PRO Premium Grout*.

• HYDRO BAN SLURRY is a cement based, one component, polymer fortified material that mixes with water and easily applies with brush, roller or trowel. This product can be used on retaining walls, water features, slabs on ground and immersed installations where water resistance or protection from substrate moisture is required.
• HYDRO BAN is a thin, load bearing waterproofing/crack isolation membrane that DOES NOT require the use of fabric in the field, coves or corners. HYDRO BAN is a single component self curing liquid rubber polymer that forms a flexible, seamless waterproofing membrane that bonds directly to a wide variety of substrates.
• 254 adhesive is the ultimate one-step, polymer fortified, thin-set adhesive for interior and exterior installation of ceramic tile, reduced thickness porcelain, stone, quarry tile, pavers and brick. 254 adhesive, designed to just mix with water, has a long open time with unsurpassed adhesion and workability.
• SPECTRALOCK PRO Premium Grout* is a patented, high performance epoxy grout which offers excellent colour uniformity, durability, stain protection, and beautiful, full grout joints in an easy to-use, non-sag formula.
