Polyaspartic Flooring Value Through Durability

Heavy traffic entrances within commercial retail settings represent some of the most demanding environments for any flooring system. These applications must be durable enough to stand up against harsh cleaning chemicals as well as constant foot and cart traffic. Recently, a global retail chain was experiencing challenges with its existing deck coating system in one of its locations. The existing flooring system designed for heavy-traffic was expensive to maintain and susceptible to staining. The resulting appearance greatly diminished the overall environment and initial perception for new customers. 

In order to remedy the situation, the owners selected a new high performance polyaspartic coating system from HP Spartacote® to overlay the existing flooring system. The facilities team had a very important set of requirements for the project which included the following: 

• Minimize Downtime and Productivity Loss 

• Durable & Aesthetically Appealing Finish

• Relatively Easy Maintenance

With the assistance of the local distributor and contractor, HP Spartacote worked with the facilities owner to develop a system to meet these parameters.
