LATICRETE Products Used on Tamworth Obelisk

LATICRETE used for an Australian icon in Tamworth.

In 1888 Tamworth became the first town in Australia to provide its residents with electric street lighting. The original Tamworth power station operated for 67 years until 1983, when the Power House Hotel was built on the site.

The Obelisk was built to celebrate the history of Tamworth being the first Australian City of Lights.

LATAPOXY® 310 was used to spot bond the granite tile to the facade of the obelisk.

LATAPOXY® 310 Spot Bonding epoxy is a high performing adhesive that allows for speedy installations that will stand the test of time.  Click here for more information on LATAPOXY 310 Stone Adhesive.
