LATICRETE Team Helps Firefighters On Moreton Island

A photo taken by Kerrod as the fire intensified

Three of LATICRETE Brisbane's warehouse/manufacturing team were enjoying their holiday on Moreton Island, off the coast of Redcliffe, Brisbane late last week. A bushfire took hold and they found themselves along with everyone else, confronted by an intense and rapidly growing fire on the small island.

When asked what happened, they were retelling how they had to help firefighters and locals to start pumps and pump water onto the blaze and how all the snakes seemed to 'come out of the woodwork'. The fire has burnt 2,500 hectares of bushland since last Thursday and continues to rage.

They would do the same again in a similar situation, but we are proud to have such generous and kind hearted young men working for LATICRETE Australia!

Well done guys, I am sure the Moreton Island community are extremely grateful to you all.
