The video shown above demonstrates the proper way to use a HYDRO BAN® Wet Film Gauge. When installing liquid style waterproofing membranes, anti- fracture membranes, vapor reduction membranes, paints or other construction liquids the method to measure the materials installation thickness is with a tool called a Wet Film Gauge. The Wet Film Gauge will measure thickness of liquids in mils and assists the installer in knowing that the installation thickness is correct.
Use your HYDRO BAN Wet Film Gauge with HYDRO BAN - a thin, load bearing waterproofing/crack isolation membrane that DOES NOT require the use of fabric in the field, coves or corners. HYDRO BAN is a single component, self curing liquid rubber polymer that forms a flexible, seamless waterproofing membrane. HYDRO BAN bonds directly to a wide variety of substrates.
