Ongoing Residential Project in Balwyn North

A new pool and landscaping project in Balwyn North, VIC, is currently underway. 

Mauro and Paul from Probuild Tiling and pool builder Feature Pools are working on the pool which features 600x600mm porcelain tiles using HYDRO BAN®, 335 adhesive, and PERMACOLOR® Grout, all supplied by AVJ Ceramics.

Steve and the team from Nathan Burkett Landscape Architecture are installing a limestone wall using HYDRO BAN® SLURRY and 335 adhesive, all supplied by Tilers Trade Outlet.

Materials used:

• HYDRO BAN® is a thin, load-bearing waterproofing/crack isolation membrane that DOES NOT require the use of fabric in the field, coves or corners. HYDRO BAN is a single component, self-curing liquid rubber polymer that forms a flexible, seamless waterproofing membrane. 
• 335 is a premium, flexible, high-performance thin-bed adhesive for installing a wide range of tiles and stone including low absorption ceramic tile, porcelain tile, natural and manufactured stone using thin-set method of installation.
• PERMACOLOR® Grout* is a high-performance grout that provides a grout joint that is dense, hard and will resist cracking.
• HYDRO BAN® SLURRY is a cement-based one component, polymer fortified, waterproofing material that mixes with water and easily apples with brush, roller, or trowel. This product can be used on retaining walls, water features, slabs on ground, and immersed installations. HYDRO BAN SLURRY is suitable for areas requiring negative hydrostatic pressure resistance up to 2.5 BARS and positive hydrostatic pressure up to 5 BARS.
