On-Site Visits in El Paso

Mosaic Artist, Julie Richey was appreciative when a LATICRETE Int. Technical Sales Rep, Nick Derr, went to the job site and offered technical support in selecting the best products for the project currently underway at St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Catholic Church.

"Dear Nick,

It was great meeting you in El Paso last week. Thanks so much for coming out to our site and helping us troubleshoot the waterproofing, drain and product selection. I love the glass tile adhesive's texture. I'm sure we'll use that in the future. We've decided to thinset the individual steps in the studio with fiberglass mesh before bringing them out to the site. They'll go in more like individual tiles rather than paper-faced sections.  That way, we control the evenness of the surface.

The contractor is happy about the drain suggestion and I hope this one works out - I wish they had known about your horizontal drains when they designed the project - that would have been ideal for hiding the drain, instead of having it right in the middle of our design. Oh well.

It's always great to meet Laticrete reps - you guys are the best!

Have a great weekend,
Julie"
