Successful ATC & LATICRETE Training Seminar

Post graduate tilers at a recent training seminar

The above photo is of attendees at the first joint Australian Tile Council (NSW) and LATICRETE training seminar, conducted by Barry Bulmar and LATICRETE Technical Service Manager, Fred Gray at the Randwick TAFE on the 19th of June.

The "assessed course" on Tiling Backgrounds was the first in a series of 3 courses, which is targeted at post graduate tilers at TAFE Technical Colleges.

The second seminar is designed to be a full blown, hands on seminar on how to epoxy grout successfully, with the third seminar focusing on preparation of substrates for tiling.

If this inaugural seminar is anything to go by, these courses will be a regular occurrence at TAFE Colleges around the state and even taken up by our counterparts in other parts of Australia.

These courses are assessed for the allocation of continuing professional development points and the participants have the chance of becoming ATC trained tilers.
The ATC feels very strongly about picking up the skill level of our tilers, giving them a competitive edge and improving the outlook of the tiling industry.

We at LATICRETE are proud to be part of this initiative!
