Completed Ensuite at the Sunshine Coast

 

We recently recieved an update from Don Macdonald and his team from The Orchid Group on the Sunshine Coast, QLD, where they have completed this ensuite bathroom project. The team have installed large format porcelain wall tiles 1200x450mm and timber look-a-like porcelain floor tiles 1200x235mm using LATICRETE materials. Well done! 

Products used:

• LATASIL™ is a high performance, one component, neutral cure, 100% silicone sealant designed for ceramic tile & stone applications.

Outdoor Area Makeover!

In November last year, Chris Stenhouse LATICRETE Technical Sales Rep provided technical support to a customer for their outdoor area. The project featured french pattern travertine and stack stone installed using a range of LATICRETE materials.

This product can be used on retaining walls, water features, slabs on ground, and immersed installations. HYDRO BAN SLURRY is suitable for areas requiring negative hydrostatic pressure resistance up to 2.5 BARS and positive hydrostatic pressure up to 5 BARS.

Bathroom Project Completed

 

The team from Skorpil Tiling sent us an update on one of their projects, which we shared in November last year. You can read about it here; "Home Renovation at Sunny Coast". The team have completed the renovation. The bathroom now has brand new floors and walls, and we absolutely love the result! A full LATICRETE system has been used for this installation.

UPDATE: Muswellbrook Pool Project

Not long ago we shared this 1100m2 pool project in Muswellbrook, NSW. Thanks to Craig Hunter, LATICRETE Technical Sales Rep, we can share an update!

The team from Dalski have finished the waterproofing and commenced on the tiling work! The pool features Serapool tiles from The Pool Tile Company and installed using a range of LATICRETE materials that qualify for a LATICRETE 15 Year Swimming Pool System Warranty.

• 226 Thick Bed Mortar is a factory prepared blend of carefully selected raw materials, Portland cement and graded aggregates. 226 Thick Bed Mortar was designed for use with 3701 Mortar Admix to produce a latex Portland cement mortar that has exceptional strength.

HYDRO BAN® SLURRY Demo with Rockedge

Before Christmas, our LATICRETE Technical Sales Reps, Chris Stenhouse and Corey Downes, was on-site with Rockedge Paving and Stone Work to give a demo on our newly launched product, HYDRO BAN® SLURRY. The demo took place in Melbourne, VIC, on a small block wall that will later be receiving stonework to the face. 

HYDRO BAN® SLURRY is a cement-based one component, polymer fortified, waterproofing material that mixes with water and easily applies with brush, roller, or trowel. This product can be used on retaining walls, water features, slabs on ground, and immersed installations.
